New Senior Coach

The Goodwood Cricket Club Committee are pleased to announce Dean Waugh as the senior coach for the upcoming 2014 / 2015 season.

Dean is an accredited Level 2 coach and former first class cricketer.  He has over 20 years of cricket experience as a player, captain and coach.

Dean’s appointment is extremely exciting for the club and continues the investment in quality coaching by this proud community club.

Our thanks also go out to our retiring coach, Sam Turner, who coached the club for the past 2 seasons.  Sam’s efforts and the impact he has made on our club will be remembered for many years.  As a direct result of the high level coaching we have had, the Goodwood Cricket Club will be fielding 7 senior teams this coming season, 5 x two day teams and 2 x one day teams.  We believe this is a first for an ATCA club.

New players of all skill levels are always welcome at Goodwood, and our pre-season training starts on Saturday 30th August at Woodlands Sports Centre, 375 Cross Road, Edwardstown, 9am til 11am.
