A1 – vs Hope Valley @ Goodwood Oval
Defending 259, the A’s did superbly as Hope Valley were bowled out for a measly 121 in the first innings. Tanner took 4 wickets while Hagan-Burt got 3. Muggleton enforced the follow on and by the end of the days play, Hope Valley finished 6/104 thanks to 4 wickets from Muggleton.

A3 – vs Brahma Lodge @ Brahma Lodge Oval
Needing 30 runs for victory, Webb and Chunys picked up where they left off last week and guided the B’s to victory. The boys were eventually bowled out for 157 which left 48 overs left in the day. Superb bowling and fielding meant Brahma Lodge were bowled out for 93 in a fantastic display of team cricket. Chasing 37 in 12 overs for the outright, Chunys and George chased the score down with ease in the 5th over.

B1 – vs Payneham @ Cabra East
Having already won on day 1, the C grade chased an outright victory on a green Cabra deck. Harry Singh destroyed Payneham as he took 7/39 off 14 overs. Payneham were dismissed for 138 which left 56 runs for the outright victory. The score was reached 2 down as the C grade are firming for a top 4 position this season.

C2 – vs Kilburn @ Lockleys Oval
D’s had another fantastic day this week as Wakim and T Keen passed Kilburn’s 101, the boys eventually declared on 6/179 with a lead of 78. Bowling a second time, Kilburn were dismissed for just 48, Luke Sale took career best figures of 6/19 while U17 Jake Willington took 3/12. Special mention to Lee Smallacombe with match figures of 3/0 off 7 balls. An outright victory to the D grade means the boys will be playing finals for the first time in 9 seasons.

LO2 – vs Glenunga @ Webb Oval
It was 2 v 3 this week as Pottsy’s team bowled first on a soft and green wicket. Sargent and Dsouza bowled well before Raj Singh (4/11) had Glenunga in trouble. Glenunga eventually posted 118 which was no trouble for Martin, Dsouza and M George. A great win as the LO2 boys look to lock up 2nd place.

LO3 – vs Grange @ Cabra West
Batting first, the LO3’s were able to post 5/253 thanks to head coach John Rankin, Greg Stagg and Jaggard. In reply, Grange couldn’t muster much of a fight as Burton, Heath and Colwell all bowled well. The LO3’s now have won 5 on the trot and are a sneaky chance to play finals this season.

LO5 – vs Modbury @ Modbury High School
Sent in on what appeared to be a section of the outfield, Goodwood finished their 40 overs at 8/106 after even contributions across the board. However it wasn’t enough to stop Modbury who passed the score in the 28th over 6 wickets down.
